If you are gluten, dairy, and/or soy free, it is a challenge to find a delicious vegan protein shake organic powder that will work for you and is affordable. I recently started using Orgain Vegan Powder Organic Protein is a plant based powder, and Vega Protein & Greens, both purchased from Amazon or your local Costco. They’re both GMO free and contain no chemicals or artificial ingredients. (xanthan gum is one of the ingredients of The Vega). Both are low carb. Depending on your carbohydrate needs, add more or less fruit than I have listed below. Add organic gluten-free oats for a variation.

My power protein shake ingredients:
1/3 cup canned coconut milk (the real stuff!)
1/3 cup water
1 to 1-1/2 cups ice
1 serving of Orgain creamy chocolate fudge protein powder, or Vega protein & greens, vanilla flavor.
1/4 cup blueberries
handful of kale and/or spinach
1 tbsp almond butter
Blend until smooth and creamy. This shake is DELICIOUS, will fill you up, and is a great way to fuel your body before or after a workout!
